This Privacy Policy explains what information the RAVER app ("RAVER", "we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address and a password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are stored only in hashed form on the server; the app never stores your password.
• Profile information — your chosen username and, optionally, a profile photo you provide.
• Gameplay data — your scores, accuracy, hit counts, and tier for each song and drop you play. This data powers the leaderboards.
• Authentication tokens — a secure login token is stored in the device Keychain so you stay signed in.

Camera

RAVER uses your device's front camera only to detect your fist-pump movements on-device while you play. No photos, video, or audio from gameplay are recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere, and the microphone is never used.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and keep you signed in.
• To record your scores and display personal bests, rankings, and global leaderboards.
• To show your username and profile photo to other players on leaderboards.
• To provide account features such as password reset and account deletion.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising. Your username, profile photo, and scores are visible to other players on in-app leaderboards. When you use the "Share" feature, a score card image (your username, avatar, and score) is shared only to the destination you choose.

Service providers

We use Supabase to host our database, authentication, and file storage. Your account and gameplay data are stored on their infrastructure and processed on our behalf, subject to their security practices. All communication between the app and our backend is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: open the You tab, scroll to the Danger Zone, tap Delete Account, and confirm. This removes your profile, scores, and login record. You may also email us to request deletion.

Children's privacy

RAVER is not directed to children. You must be 18 or older to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Your rights

You can access and update your username and photo in the app, and delete your account and data as described above. For any other privacy request, contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
